Our effort here is to encourage people to THINK!  Following are sources used in our White Paper topics. I hope you will review these as well as seek out your own. On any major issue, 3 or 4 independent areas of thought are my rule of thumb in trying to arrive at a balanced opinion. Don't rely on the political parties or commercials for the TRUTH.

The Wednesday May 12, 2004, New York Times OP-ED page, includes a piece titled, "Lie, and the Voters Will Believe". It deals with the campaign commercials of both Mr. Bush and Mr. Kerry. You know, the ones where they say "I approve this message"!  Both political parties have teams of individuals who 'spin' or shade the truth for political gain. In the '50s and '60s it would have been called 'lying'. Now it's seen as respectable. If you don't want to believe that look below for the book by James Carville titled: "ALL'S FAIR." He CO-wrote it with Mary Matlyne, a Republican. Yes, you're right, he was President Clinton's campaign manager and she was the same for President Bush.
