A three week tour through Russia and some of its former East Block satellites
  • To study the effects of Soviet Communism on the people.

  • Russia’s present state of affairs after the collapse of Communism.

  • Discussions with former members of the Communist Party.

  • Seminars with Professor Ludmilla Selezneva on Russian history with emphasis on 1980 to the present.

  • Touring through Poland, the home of Lech Walesa and Solidarity, who’s activities precipitated the communist collapse throughout the Soviet Union.

  • Touring through the Czech Republic, home to Vaclav Havel, the essayist and human rights advocate most responsible for the fall of the Communist government in Czechoslovakia.
